I love me a good ole brick fireplace. However, ours living room fireplace brick colors were super outdated. So I decided it was time to give it a little refresh!
BEFORE
First, I washed the entire fireplace with a scrub daddy, dawn dish soap and hot water.
After it dried, it was time to paint! I did a lot of researched and decided not to prime the brick.
I wanted to still keep the texture and pores of the brick visible.
Paint color: stampede by Benjamin Moore
Next, it was time to update the gold insert. We used this spray paint to give it a little update!

Last but not least, we added the most beautiful chandelier to give the room some sparkle!
After
I’m so obsessed with how our fireplace turned out! I love how it’s now the focal point of the room without being too busy.
My new favorite thing to do is cuddle up by the fire every night! Hope you love it as much as I do!
